Welcome to Bridgeport Public Library!

We have over 36,000 books, magazines, audiobooks, newspapers, DVDs, and videos available for use by the public. New books are marked with a red dot for easy identification. Spanish books and videos of all levels are also available.

Book Drop
The library book drop is located at the front of the building at the beginning of the walkway, under the canopy. The book drop is checked at 5 p.m. every day that we are open. Anything deposited after that time will be checked in the following day and may be subject to overdue fines.

Public Computers
Computers are available for use by the public, including Internet access. These computers are equipped with such programs as Microsoft Office Suite, reference titles, tutorials, and children's programs.

Wi-Fi access is freely available within the range of the library's system.
