Mandatory water restrictions will be activated by the City of Bridgeport beginning on Monday, August 29, 2011. The restrictions include no watering from 10 am to 6pm, no washing cars without a positive pressure shut-off nozzle, and operating a permanently installed irrigation system with a broken sprinkler head.
Residential addresses ending in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6, or 8) may water on Wednesdays and Saturday.
Residential addresses ending in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9) may water on Thursdays and Sundays.
All nonresidential locations (apartment complexes, businesses, industries, parks, medians, etc.) may water on Tuesdays and Fridays.
