Facade Improvement Incentive Program
Our downtown buildings are more than just bricks and mortar -- they are the structures at the very heart of our community. Recognizing this fact, the premise of the Main Street program is economic revitalization through architectural preservation. To support this mission, Bridgeport Main Street is proud to offer a comprehensive and generous facade improvement incentive program for businesses and property owners within the Main Street district (Halsell Street from US 114 to 13th Street.)
These programs are supported by private donations, private businesses, and the use of hotel occupancy tax funds.
All building improvements must adhere to Bridgeport Main Street design guidelines and be pre-approved by the Bridgeport Main Street Design Committee.
