The mission of the Bridgeport Police Department is to work in partnership with all citizens to enhance community safety, and reduce the fear and incidence of crime.

By working in partnership with our citizens, the members of the Police Department will act as leaders to improve the quality of life within our community.

To accomplish these goals, the officers and employees of the Police Department are dedicated to serving the people of Bridgeport with professionalism, honor, and integrity.
