The mission of Bridgeport's Parks and Recreation Department is to enhance the quality of life in our community by developing, maintaining, renovating, and preserving, in a safe and attractive manner, quality city parkways, parks, open spaces, and recreational facilities. It is further our mission to facilitate recreational opportunities and amenities which will be safe and secure for the benefit of all ages.

Registrations & Rentals

All registrations can be made at bridgeport.recdesk.com

Rental information and payments are being taken at the Utilities window located inside City Hall at 900 Thompson Street.

Programs & Opportunities

The City of Bridgeport offers many opportunities within parks and recreation through Harwood Park, Payne Park, the City Pool, the Bridgeport Community Center, and Northwest OHV Park. This area also offers several additional recreational opportunities including the newly renovated ball fields near the Community Center, the Bridgeport Country Club Golf Course, Lake Bridgeport, and more.
