COVID-19 City of Bridgeport- Updates As Of May 15th

COVID- 19 City Updates! As of May 15th, 2020


Harwood Park, Payne Park, and Community Center Playgrounds- Closed to the public.

The walking trails around Harwood Park & Payne Park and the rest of the parks ARE STILL OPEN to the public.


Bridgeport City Hall and Public Works/Development Offices- Open to the public!

Please see the individual fliers on the Homepage for details on each Department for payment, permits, utilities and procedures to help stop the spread of COVID-19.


Bridgeport Municipal Court- Open to the public, effective May 18th

Please see the individual flier on the Homepage for details on the Municipal Court procedures.


Bridgeport Library- Open to the public & for Curbside Pickup, effective May 18th

Please see the individual flier on the Homepage for details on the Library procedures. The Library is scheduled to reopen to the public on May 18th.


Northwest OHV Park- Reopening to the public, effective May 16th

Hours of operation will be Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.


Upcoming City Sponsored Events- Cancelled until further notice.

Due to COVID- 19, the Bridgeport City Council decided that until further notice that all upcoming City Sponsored events are being cancelled, postponed or TBD and a later date will be determined. 


No Rentals for Activities/Events in City Facilities- Until Further Notice

Also, Bridgeport City Council made the decision that no events or activities will be held in our City of Bridgeport facilities, until further notice. 


Bridgeport Parks & Recreation, Summer Camp-  No Summer Camp this year, due to COVID-19 related restraints.


Bridgeport City Pool- At this time, City Council will be making a decision in early June, on whether or not the Pool will be open for the summer.
